New Middle School Class

Dear Families,
We are so excited to be starting up a fellowship group for our 5th-8th graders at Paonia Friends Church!
During fellowship time (10:15 or 10:30) students will be invited to grab a snack and head downstairs to the children’s area under the sanctuary for a time to study and be together.
What’s UP? is a curriculum that takes a look at what the Gospel means for our middle school kids who often fall through the cracks in our churches… too old for the children’s lesson, too young for high school groups; but quickly developing their own identity, becoming more independent, and wrestling with the many different world-views they come into contact with on a daily basis.
This curriculum is divided into three parts: “The Gospel”, “Your Heart”, and “A Changed Life”. Each lesson uses stories, illustrations, and interactive activities to engage students, encourage discussion, and spur growth. We expect to take about a year to work through the curriculum together, keeping lessons about 30 minutes long.
Grace MacGregor will be leading the class, along with a team teacher. Our first class together will be February 14th. A schedule will be given at that class. We plan to meet about every other week throughout the year.
Please RSVP to Heather Frazier if your student is planning on attending, so that we will be prepared with a student guide for everyone. Call or text 970-261-3954, or email allthosefraziers@gmail.com. We are looking forward to a lively group of these very special kids!
In Christ,
Heather Frazier, Kids’ coordinator @ Paonia Friends
